Attention!

We developed this thunder detector to protect an electric and machinery from thunder.
You must never use only this thunder detector for the purpose of protecting a person and an important animal, a plant, an important object from thunder directly or indirectly.

When you use this thunder detector, at first you must do appropriate examination to follow the safety level related to the law of your country and the law about materials to use for connection and it to use this thunder detector, the design of the system. If a law and the safety level of your country do not accept the use of this thunder detector, it is impossible to use this thunder detector in your country.

This thunder detector includes a harmful material and rare materials such as the lead, gold, palladium, and silver out of necessity to keep the performance. When you cannot perform the appropriate disposal that obeyed the rule that the country establishes of you when you finish the use of this product, you cannot use this product.

You cannot use this product the government of Japan where this thunder detector is made prohibits the export of these products in your country or when you set a limit. In addition, we hand this product to you and cannot do it when we judged it you cannot use this product definitely or when we have the fear.

	〇	It is the thunder detector which it developed for automatic control. Therefore, you incorporate it in the automatic system which accepted your purpose and can use it.
	〇	We use superior coherer (patent pending) for the long-term stability that we developed as a thunder detecting element newly.
	〇	This thunder detector can detect a thunderbolt to be generated with about 1km by superior electrostatic sensitivity from the setting place of this detector of the coherer before the outbreak of the thunderbolt.
	〇	This thunder detector can detect thunder by sharp selectivity for the thunder of the coherer under the heavy electric appliance magnetic fields such as transmitting stations.
	〇	With this thunder detector, the metal telephone wire or power line which can be connected to the exclusive detection coil in your system become an antenna for the thunder detection. Therefore, it is not necessary for you to install an antenna for exclusive use of a thing of the thunder detection use outside your system. (Setting of extra appropriate SPD is necessary for a detection electric wire.)
	〇	This thunder detector detects only thunder with the influence in an electric wire connected to the machinery which is going to avoid influence of the thunder automatically by this detector. When influence by the thunder does not produce it in the electric wire which can be connected to the machinery which is going to avoid influence of the thunder by this detector automatically even if thunder sounds on a head, as for this detector, this detector does not work. Therefore, this thunder detector does not give an unnecessary thunder warning for automatic control.
	〇	This thunder detector detects big surge equivalent to this as well as thunder well. Therefore, in the cases that used this detector for a power line, you can know the short circuit accidents (a thing with the spark in particular) to be generated with a power line and your facilities.
	〇	It is easy the size of the thunder detection unit that is the biggest part incorporates it in the automatic control system which you have already had with a small thing of 170×210×70（mm） with this thunder detector, and to use it.

A summary of the basic usage

You have to tie all machinery and facilities to be connected to the earth to equal electric potential to show it in the figure.

※1	The metal power line and telephone wire which lead to your facilities from the outside. But that one of the combinations can be connected to the earth as for the metal power line and telephone wire.

※2	You must use fuse which cleared a safe standard of your country definitely. With a normal blowout type fuse 20 (A) maximum. You must not use NFB. In addition, you must not omit this fuse even if there are NFB and a fuse in the system of the metal electric wire.
※3	You must use SPD which cleared a safe standard of your country definitely. In addition, in this detector, the use of SPD more than 2,000(V) is impossible with both voltage restrictions start voltage and limit voltage.
※4	When you connect Detection coil unit and Thunder Detection unit with a coaxial cable, it is necessary for normal, you to assume the length of the coaxial cable less than 5(m). In addition, it is necessary for the characteristic to have well as possible coaxial cable, which you use.
